After a long hiatus, I am back!

I had a pretty rough summer--Hassles, loss, and health problems. Was getting ready for surgery at one point, but fortunately some more gradual but effective treatment got my health in order.

Difficult times, but they're behind me now. At this point, I'm feeling stronger and more confident than before. Ready to tackle things with my head held high.

Castle Obrio resumes next week. I've been waiting for this recovery, and now that my life is once again opened up for art time, I'm going full-tilt.

Right now, I'm doing some more prep work for the 2nd chapter. I'll have a proper release date soon, but I'll be updating with concept pieces every Monday. I'll also have standalone art pieces along the way!

I've been through a lot of trials during this journey, but I've grown a lot. I look forward to sharing more of the story as time rolls along.

For those of you who have checked out the comic, thanks a lot. I've really appreciated it!

Welcome to my new art page! I have a nice backlog of art I'll be sharing in the upcoming weeks.

A little explanation: I first got attached to the name Tickentock a long time ago. I set up my art account and went "oh, there's a social media platform with a similar name. I've seen so many platforms come and go, I'm sure in a couple years no one will even remember Tiktok!"

So much for that! It's a bit better for an artist if their name *doesn't* sound like a very popular brand name.

So why Fowlfish? I spend a lot of time outdoors, and watching birds as well as fish is one of my favorite meditative pastimes. When I need a sense of peace and harmony, the fowl and the fish are the perfect choice. And that's an inspiration I'm glad to carry onward!

After having a break from online updates, I'm getting back into sharing things more often. Taking the handle of Fowlfish is a big step in that new momentum.

So I'll be seeing you more from now on!
